Effective Web Marketing - Where Should You Begin?
(SEO, Blogs, RSS Feeds, Podcasts and Keywords)
In the world of Internet Marketing how does your company fare? Internet Marketing can make your head spin. Just recently I was at a luncheon hosted by IABC Detroit and the speaker was Michael Pranikoff from PR Newswire. He was speaking about RSS (real simple syndication), social media, SEO, web analytics and using multimedia online. He discussed the importance of learning how to use online technology and innovations for promoting websites.
Michael's presentation was geared toward both the novice and those who have already been working with new media tools. It was encouraging as well very informative. Afterwards, reflecting on my notes and investigating some of these tools and ideas, the question popped into my head...where does one begin? What should a webmaster start with; RSS feeds, Blogs, Keywords, Press Releases, Podcasts, Newsletters, Social Networking.....? Calgone take me away!
